The Palms is a 17-story concrete high-rise built in 1968 with 140 residences, developed by Palms Development Co. Floor plans are mainly two-bedrooms of about 820 to 950 square feet, with some one-bedrooms and a few larger three-bedroom and oversized two-bedroom units; some high-floor Diamond Head corner units have a separate entry to the second bedroom.

The building is on Nahua Street in central Waikiki, near International Market Place and a few minutes from the central stretch of Waikiki Beach. The building has covered parking with one stall per unit.
