Oahu, the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands, is divided into five sections: North Shore, Central, Windward, East Honolulu, and West Oahu. Each section of the island has its unique characteristics and neighborhoods that offer visitors and residents a diverse range of experiences.

The North Shore is located on the northern coast of the island and is famous for its massive waves and white sand beaches. The neighborhoods in this quadrant are laid-back and offer a more relaxed lifestyle. The town of Haleiwa is a popular destination for surfers and beach lovers, while the town of Waialua is known for its sugar cane plantations and rich history. Visitors can also explore the historic town of Laie or hike the Kaena Point Trail for stunning views of the coastline.

Central Oahu, as its name eludes to is located in the center of the island, stretching from Pearl Harbor, north to Wahiawa. Mililani, one of the first master planned communities on Oahu, is the heart of Central Oahu, however, the up and coming Koa Ridge community is in its infancy stages and still growing.

The Windward side of Oahu is located on the eastern coast of the island and is known for its lush greenery and outdoor activities. The neighborhood of Kailua is a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, offering world-renowned beaches, hiking trails, and water sports. The town of Kaneohe is home to the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base and offers visitors the opportunity to explore the lush Ko'olau Mountains.

East Honolulu is the most populated quadrant on the island and is home to several high-end neighborhoods and luxury homes. The neighborhoods in this quadrant offer residents a sophisticated lifestyle and access to some of the best restaurants, shopping, and cultural attractions on the island. The town of Hawaii Kai is a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts, with its many parks, beaches, and water sports activities.

West Oahu is located on the leeward coast of the island and is home to some of the newest and fastest-growing neighborhoods on Oahu. The neighborhoods in this quadrant offer residents a mix of suburban and urban lifestyles, with access to shopping centers, restaurants, and outdoor activities. The town of Kapolei is the main city in West Oahu, often called the Second City, and is home to several new developments, including the Disney Aulani Resort and the Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center.

The five sections of Oahu offer visitors and residents a diverse range of experiences and neighborhoods. From the laid-back surf towns of the North Shore to the upscale neighborhoods of South and East Honolulu, there is something for everyone on this beautiful island.
