Kalia is a 1958 complex of three 14-story concrete buildings with 303 apartments, nearly all one-bedroom units of about 500 square feet plus a group of two-bedroom units around 856 square feet. It is a leasehold cooperative whose land lease runs to 2048; the monthly fee covers items such as lease rent, co-op property taxes, utilities and cable. Grounds include a pool, barbecue area, recreation room and security staff.
