Pacifica began as a different project that stalled partway up during the downturn. OliverMcMillan revived it in 2010 and opened the finished tower in November 2011.

Homes have no lanais, but most floors are arranged so eight of twelve homes face the ocean and the other four look over the city to the Ko'olau Mountains. Ward Village shopping and dining are a short walk. Short-term vacation rentals are not allowed.
